Aba therapy for kids with autism

Specialized Therapy for Children with Autism

According to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), ABA therapy for autism is “largely based on behavior and its consequences; techniques generally involve teaching individuals more effective ways of behaving and working to change the social consequences of existing behavior.”

Our specialists use reward-based learning to help a child repeat positive behaviors. ABA therapy is scientifically based and research driven, focusing on increasing positive behaviors and decreasing potentially harmful or negative behaviors through intentional one-on-one time. Our therapists are BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certified and participate in continuous education to stay on top of new ABA techniques and opportunities.

Breakthrough Autism's BCBAs and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are equipped to use a variety of techniques such as: discrete trial training (or breaking down a task into small, achievable components), positive reinforcement, repetition, and altering antecedent stimuli. Our ABA services help children with autism and developmental disabilities learn and grow.
